Thank you so much for your support! I can't even begin to describe how it feels to have been elected as your Member of Parliament for Scarborough Southwest. I am certainly elated with our local victory and I'm excited to be joining 102 other New Democrats in the House of Commons to fight for your rights and to ensure Scarborough gets its fair share. I am also humbled by the responsibility, the faith and the confidence shown in me by the residents of our great riding that my family has called home for 80 years.

I would like to take a moment to thank our outgoing MP Michelle Simson and her staff for their hard work over the past 2+ years. I will do my best to meet and exceed the high standards already established and to be the Member of Parliament you all deserve in Ottawa but more importantly here at home in our riding.

I am already hard at work attending to constituent issues like parental sponsorships, immigration issues and birthday greetings. Please get in touch if you need assistance and one of our staff will attend to it.

I do ask for your patience while I hire staff and open a Constituency Office location as this does limit my ability to get things done. I am currently responding to issues that arise as quickly as possible, but until all staff is hired, there may be some delays.

I have selected a constituency office, we are in the process of dealing with the lease, before we can move in.
